The Summer Missionary Team (SMT) is a summer-long opportunity to serve kids, build meaningful relationships, and share the Gospel through both your words and actions. SMTs serve as summer counselors at Solid Rock Camps, creating an environment where kids feel known, loved, and encouraged while pointing them toward Jesus.
What You'll Do
- Serve kids from 1st–12th grade through Day, Pre-Teen, and Teen Camps
- Lead and participate in small groups and Gospel conversations
- Help facilitate games, activities, and camp programming
- Build intentional relationships with campers
- Bring energy, joy, and enthusiasm to every camp
- Care for and serve kids in a way that reflects the love of Jesus
- Proclaim the Gospel through your words and actions
Summer Commitment
May 17 – August 7
SMTs are expected to be available for the majority of the summer and may miss no more than two weeks. Consistent presence is important because SMTs are investing in campers and serving as a team.
Compensation & Benefits
- About $300 per week w/ bonus opportunities
- Free on-site housing
- Meals provided while working at camp
- No daily commute required
Housing
SMTs live together on the Solid Rock Camps property in separate male and female condos. Each condo includes 2 bedrooms with 2 bunks in each room, a full kitchen, living room space, and 2½ bathrooms.

We're looking for young adults who love Jesus, love people, have lots of energy, and want to spend their summer investing in the next generation. You don't have to be perfect—you just need a heart that is willing to serve, learn, have fun, and live on mission.
